Series I-V
Flowers from the Frontline

"...the agony of war and the fragility of flowers..."

Godfrey Barker, Journalist and Author

In each book rests a flower, picked by Ukrainian artist Olga Morozova in Popudrenko park in Kyiv as the frost thawed and the bombing continued to torment the city. These books capture the dream that has not yet been realised - for a peacetime Ukraine. Inspired by the Garden Musuem’s archive of historic botanical books, Phoebe created the Flowers From The Frontline series to explore the space in which change and flourishing can begin, as recorded in pressed botanicals.

Flowers From The Frontline Series, Book I-V
